In his silence I felt fear
I didn’t feel near
In his strength I fought
What was it he sought
In his patience I was irked
He never even smirked
His integrity was all
I struggled not to fall
No clock to see
No where to be
He and I
There we lie
Words were voiced
My eyes grew moist
His, straightforward, non elusive
Mine, deep, effusive
At his feet within his grasp
There would be no lapse
In his silence I find peace
Incredible celebrated release
He stands tall and strong
Beneath him, I belong
With his patience, he showed me the light
Freed from inhibition, soaring in flight
In his silence I found
I was indeed bound
His actions, his deeds
Direct me to meet his needs
His formidable will
Holds me still
His patience ended the race
In him I found my place
His patience is his strength
Never ending in its length
It holds him in silence
For in his word, there is reliance
In his presence or not
Is my existence and lot
With integrity he simply, is
Enthralled I am forever, his
