Fetch

“Now,” she said, looking up, her eyes blazing with anger, “You must either slay me or enslave me.”
“You are free,” I said sternly.
“Then slay me,” she demanded.
“I could not do that,” I said.
“Collar me,” she said.
“I have no wish to do so,” I said.
“Then acknowledge your codes betrayed,” she said.
“Fetch the collar,” I said.
She leaped up to fetch the collar and handed it to me, again kneeling before me.
I encircled her lovely throat with the steel and she looked up at me, angrily.
I snapped it shut.
She began to rise to her feet.
But my hand on her shoulder prevented her from rising. “I did not give you permission to rise, slave,” I said.
Her shoulders shook with anger. Then she said, “Of course, I am sorry, master,” and dropped her head.  NOMADS OF GOR; 4; Pages 292-293

“Fetch the whip,” I had told her.
She looked at me, dumbfounded. Women of Earth are always forgiven. They are never punished, no matter what they do. They, of course, are not slave girls. They lack the legalities, and the collar.
“You cannot be serious,” she said.
“Did I not speak of this to you when I first bound you as a slave girl?” I asked. I referred to our conversation in the room of preparation, when I had first surprised and captured her, making her mine.
“I asked when you would whip me,” she said, numbly. “You responded, when it was to your convenience.” She looked at me, miserably.
“It is now convenient,” I told her.  TRIBESMEN OF GOR; 10; Pages 349-350

He then hurled the whip from him. It slid back across the tiles, until it stopped, at the door.
“Fetch,” he said.
The girl, on her hands and knees, went to the whip. She put down her head at the heavy, locked door and picked up the whip, delicately, in her teeth. She then, the whip in her teeth, turned from the door and, head down, on her hands and knees, returned to the center of the room.  KAJIRA OF GOR; 19; Page 398

Kudos to you, Mr. Norman for writing the Gorean series!
A rich, yet utterly simple saga; a world, a time, a people;
those of the Counter-Earth .. the planet .. Gor.
Thank you!
